Improving the UX of Xplor Triib: A research

Xplor Triib is a functional fitness studio software that operates on the web and as a mobile application.

In a UX Design class, I researched the app's user experience and gave suggestions on how to enhance the app for users. A blueprint prototype was developed with ideas for a more user-friendly user interface that can help businesses.

Problems found: cluttered design, slow speed performance, lack of personalization, and actions requiring too many extra steps to complete.

The app must work for members and the business

A suggestion would be to develop a 6-step user acceptability testing where 45 gym members, of varying fitness levels and technical proficiencies would participate. The test would consist of observing users interacting with the app, collecting feedback, and analyzing data to identify common issues. By doing so, the app could achieve higher ratings and bring more positive results to both gym members and gyms.

The design principles used in developing these strategies were:

Simplification: Making the app logical and easy to use for all skill levels.

Increased Automation: Reducing manual actions by automating repetitive tasks and recognizing user patterns.

Impacts and implications of such changes can steer business growth and user engagement inside and outside the gym.

Onboarding Challenges: Redesigning may pose adaptation issues and resistance to change among users.

Business Growth: A user-friendly app can attract more clients, promote the brand, and enhance the gym's profitability.
